Felicia C. O'Hara

Felicia Claire O'Hara was born in Durban, South Africa, the youngest of 3 girls. She was ultimately raised in Nottinghamshire, England where she graduated from Frederick Gent Comprehensive School. She worked as a machinist in a factory before attending West Nottinghamshire Technical College for a certificate in administrative studies.

In 1997 Felicia moved to Ontario, Canada with her 2 young daughters and settled in the Morrisburg area. She lived there for 3 years before moving to live in Colorado where she attended Arapahoe Community College and obtained an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies graduating on the President's List.

Upon moving back to Ontario, Felicia attended Carleton University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Sociology. Upon graduation, she was employed as a Legal Assistant at a busy general practice in Ottawa.

She worked there until deciding to pursue her dream to become a lawyer. She obtained her legal degree from Queen's University in Kingston and upon graduation, successfully completed her Ontario Bar Admission Course and her Articles of Clerkship with the Ottawa Crown Attorney's Office.

After Articles, she remained with the Ministry of the Attorney General working as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Ottawa, Cornwall and Brockville areas. Felicia has successfully prosecuted individuals charged with assault, drinking & driving offences, sexual assault, child pornography, weapons offences and domestic violence. She remained employed as an Assistant Crown Attorney until March 2011 when she established her own legal practice offering services in the area of criminal defence. She now resides in Brockville.

Felicia is finding the challenges of practising law both engaging and rewarding; definitely worth every effort taken to pursue her goal. Felicia will bring to her clients the unique perspective gained while working as an Assistant Crown Attorney and is extremely enthusiastic and dedicated to her clients.
